Hello!
IN two weeks i have my matric dance/prom and i have decided to have it down to balance out my dress. my hair is shoulder length, brown, thin and dead straight. I don't have a very exciting haircut - just a slightly layered fringe. I think i might curl the ends but my curls usually fall out after a few hours yet i don't want to be plastered with lots of wet looking gel. Any ideas??? I would love to know how to keep them in or if you have any better suggestions!

Hi Jane:
Why don't you try having your hair rodded in perm rods, minus the chemicals, and wear it curly. You could use several different sized rods so that your curls would look like natural curls instead of permed curls. This will stay in your hair for a longer time than just a themal set. Also if your hair tends to go limp as the night wears on the only problem you will have is that your curls will gradually fall into loose waves. Give it a try before your dance to see if you like it.
