Hey everyone,
Is anyone trying the curly girl method? In a nutshell it is a method in which you care for your curly hair by cutting out all products that contain sulfates and silicone. Many people using this method also like to co-wash a lot (conditioner wash their hair) and use many natural products. Also staying away from heat styling tools is important.
I know there is a whole book dedicated to this method of hair care but I haven't seen it discussed on this forum yet.

Has anyone tried this method, and if so what were your results?

I am practicing the modified curly girl method which means I am not using heat (most of the time, I flat iron about 2-3 times a year only)and I am not using sulfates but I am using some conditioners that contain silicones which are not harmful and can be rinsed out. Since using this method my curls are bouncy and fabulous.
