That must be an older photo, right? According to Getty and WireImage, her hair is still long and extremely boring.

My source said she'd just cut it.

Seems like she did cut it - http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/slideshow/celebrity-hairdos-jenny-mccarthy-short-new-look-4150337

Hopefully this is a start to a few more snips!

Oh, cool. Glad I was wrong. :)

That cut looks so much better than anything she tried since growing out her previous bob.

Score!  I have been hoping she would go back to the angled bob - she looks hot!

I've never understood this hairstyle. Not that it's bad. In fact, Jenny looks great. I just never understood how it even became a hairstyle.

it may just be me ...but this looks awkward and it's a little too long for a good inverted  bob.

Kramer, believe it or not, I am actually in complete agreement with you. I don't understand it either.  Either go with the chin-length bob or the longer style.  For me, putting these two together just doesn't work.  And she does look amazing with a chin-length bob.

Well that news did not make my night. Time to wait for the grow out. Again.

As a hair stylist for years, I totally get it. It is shorter in the back to get it off of the neck. It is longer in the front to be able to pull it up and out of your face. It is the perfect cut for a young mom on the run. It makes total sense!!!

What's the great need to "get it off of the neck"? Especially as it seems it's long in the front to be able to "pull it out of your face" (why not just cut it?) Wouldn't it be the same to just pull some length back into a pony tail? Especially as this cut will take umpteen trips to the hairdresser to keep in order.

Here are photos of Jenny McCarthy leaving a hair salon. I wonder what she had done.

Damn, why? why? why? She has great hair to start with; why add extensions? I truly don't understand.

Could it be a wig to hide the real cut?

The pics in that post are the 2013 equivalent of what they called "mall hair" in the 80s, (IMHO).

Ok she got the bob cut. Now on the View with her hair back to long. So did she fake bob or add fake add ons?
