Hello eveyone im Lauren and i just joined today, recently qualified level 2 hairdresser. i do work one day a week in a salon and improved alot the only thing i struggle with is colour matching hair.

DILEMA: my friend wants me to do full head highlights on her. She wants 3 colours 2 brown and one blonde.

She is a base 6/7 medium brown and currently she has very strippy looking hair she wants it more natural looking.

she wants the browns to be lighter than her natural hair colour and she swears blind she does not have bleach in her hair.

so please advise..... i know tint dosent lift tint so what colour can i use to lift to a blonde ?
Also which browns would everyone reccommend. Apparently 1 is an ash tone.


I use koleston by wella or framasi but and colour brands would be fine as i can go to a salon supplies store locally.
