Last week I permed (no lye relaxer-precise) and my hair is so HARD at the root of the new growth and the new color. It also was coming out in clumps when I combed through it after rinsing the perm. I always take care of my hair I moisturize/condition and shampoo on a weekly basis so my hair was in very good condition. I normally apply a product by the name of Aphogee(deep conditioner) to my hair after I apply a new perm. I also cut my ends twice a month on the new moon/full moon phases. My hair length is about the nape of my neck. Could you let know what I can you use to strengthen and stop the breakage to my hair. I thought about using an Aveda product, but I don't know what will be best to stop breakage and strengthen it. I am afraid to shampoo it again this week for fear of more breakage --I know that hair is at it's weakest state when wet. My hair is coming out even when I comb it . Please, Please help. Replies:
