Id like to hear the worst or most embaressing or most tragic thing that has ever happened to you thanks to having long hair.

For example walking around with your hair tucked in your shorts and hanging out of the legs, or getting it stuck on a moving object and not being able to move yourself (my hair got caught on a rollarcoaster rides seat thingy. When the ride was over I hadnt noticed and tried to stand up and get out but couldnt (ouch!). The people in line had to wait for me to untangle my hair...I was NOT going to rip it! Now i keep my hair up at amusement parks.)

I don't think this counts as a "tragedy," but I once pulled a sports bra over my head and ended up pinning my hair to my back, so I was bent over backward. The bra was for very high-impact athletics, like horseback riding, and had very STRONG elastic. Like you had to stretch it wide open to even get it over your shoulders, using decent leverage. I could neither pull my hair out nor get an effective hold on the bra to pull it off.

So I was left in a very uncomfortable position, with my head yanked back, trying not to put tension on my hair.

It took me a good five minutes to wrestle out of it, and I tore some hair in the process.

Now I always put my hair up first. Lazy me.

P.E. lessons. Push ups. Long hair. Under hand. Painful. And I couldn't stop to re-do it because we were being timed. I looked such a mess.

Also, odd as it sounds, when people make a fuss in public, like relatives at Christmas. I'm like "Yes, I know it's wrist length. Now stop pulling it and making it knotty." Does that annoy/embarrass anyone else?
It happens to me all the time. Grr. But in a good way, I suppose.

A few weeks ago I was using a flashlight to look inside a computer I was repairing. When I went to pull my head away I found that some of my hair was caught in the edge of the case. It took some tugging but I finally got myself free. I found two 9" hairs (complete with roots) still tangled in the edge of the computer case .

I was on the train with my Mum, a Priest comes up from behind and says "How are you doing Ladies!"

This is my signature. It's not a very
good signature, but it's a signature
nonetheless.

I have shut drawers, kitchen cabinets, and car doors on my hair. When I started to move away and to continue the task I was doing I would find I was still attached. I have since kept my hair braided while I am working at chores and wear it down when I am less at risk of catching it in something. I still get it caught sometimes, but I have learned to be more careful. Just sitting dow, pulling my hair around to the front so I do not sit on it and pull it automatic. Enough of a bother to cut it? No way.

The other night I included my hair in a jamjar, and didnīt notice until I tried to close the fridge. Ridiculous! And sticky.

I like the jam jar story =)

Its bad when your going to throw something, like a cast net, and your hair has gotten twisted in it without you knowing!

Oh, while in the musical (the Mikado) we have a part where we were twirrling parasols. During rehersal I had left my hair down and as I started twirrling the umbrella my hair ended up wraping around it, I only noticed when I felt a tug. Then I couldnt get it unwrapped for a while. I was there trying to unravel and sing and move about at the same time.
