Thanks Replies: Posted By: Dina Date Posted: May 16 2000 at 8:07am I've had two hair transplants. Find a good MD that specializes in transplants. Micrografts(2 to 3 hairs per plug) looks best. Success depends on the donor area and the type of hair loss problem you have. My transplanted hair should last forever. It takes about 4 to 6 months for the new hair to grow.
