hi , I`m 21 years old and I loss about 40 hairs a day when I wash my hair , is this normal , and how did you first notice your hair loss ??

The average person loses about 100 - 150 hairs a day. That is normal. Anything less is probably OK. It is good to pay attention but hair falling is usually cyclical as well. As long as you don`t go past the 100-150 a day you are probably fine.
