Its main component is minoxidil. Unfortuantely, when I apply it to the scalp, it hardly ever itches. The manual said that it should itch. Also, when the occassional formula dripping occurs out of the scalp, the place where the minoxidil trail goes becomes itchy. If the worst complaint you have is that it doesn`t itch then you`ve got it good- from what I`ve been reading. I don`t use the stuff and I never will...same goes for other "drug" treatments. Lipoxidil.com has their own version which contains less minoxidil- and therefore less irritation according to them. I use their Lypoyzyt Plus. Jacob -------------
