i`m 20 years old, and my hair is really thinning now. When i was younger i always had very thin fine curly hair. I used to dye it occasionally, but never had the problems i have now. at the front of my head my hair is falling out, it routes to the back of my head (but its still relatively thick there, perhaps very minimal difference as in comparison to the front) , i`m still able to cover it because i have kinda long hair. my diet and sleeping patterns have greatly changed since last year, i dont have much time to eat, and what i do eat is of poor choice (probably one meal a day, with a dinner at 12:30 at night). I have a horrible sleeping pattern, i go to bed very late and get up early or late depending on the day, so i always lack sleep. I read a thread ealier about a anorexic girl, who had a disrupted eating pattern, so i was curious to know if that may be the problem. My father is bald, but he didnt go bald until his late 20`s, my mom`s side has thin curly hair, and half the men have their hair the others went bald later in life, none that i know of went bald at the age of 20. Lately after fearing my hairloss i`ve been seeing a lot of the bad things i do to my hair, such as hot water showers on my hair, towel drying etc. i`ve recently stopped those actions but have yet to see any hair coming back, i`m worried this is male pattern baldness, and i`m curious to know if my hairloss has anything to do with my lifestyle. sorry this is so long, but i have one more note, most men lose their hair it seems through a receeding hairline, or in the back of the head, mine is in the very front, i would greatly appreciate some response on this, i tried to be as detailed as possible, but if anyone has questions please respond, i`m getting a little worried.
thank you, Cliffton

Clifton, eat properly please , believe me , malnutrition can make your hair fall out. I have anorexia/bulimia & three times now after prolonged phases of anorexia my hair has fallen out to the extent that I had to wear wigs. It takes a long long time to grow back again & it will never be in the good condition it used to be in. Sally
