If you're a fan of ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars you probably know that Tyler Blackburn (Caleb) plays the true love of Liars' Hanna (Ashley Benson). He was mysterious when he first appeared on the show and famous for his very long hair.
He temporarily left the popular series to star on the spin-off Ravenswood, which didn't survive more than one season.
Now he's back in Rosewood with The Liars and a seriously different hairstyle. In fact, gone is his long hair and instead he has a layered edgy short choppy haircut.
Why did he return with much shorter hair? The actor told Us Weekly he wanted to demonstrate how different Caleb was after his time in the scary Ravenswood & felt coming back with a short choppy haircut would demonstrate he was in a dark place.
The actor also wanted to change his look and felt going with a major haircut would be a great way to reboot his acting career.
He had to ask permission of the Liar's producers before he got the chop.
