I was looking for a reason to post this other than her hair, just because her face is so wrong.  She always had a squinty, kewpie doll kinda face that, despite my description, was really cute and easily translated from modern to period pieces (see "Cinderella Man" and "Chicago").  And now, she's just, well, nothing special.  Her eyes are wrong now and that was half of her appeal.  If anything it actually makes her look older.
 
Good rule of thumb: "Cute" tends to age well, everything else is case by case.  She forgot the rule for "cute" and now is an "everything else"...and not one of the better cases. 
 
Now feel free to lash out at me...but I'd point you toward the Jennifer Garners, Sally Fields, Goldie Hawns, and Audrey Hepburns of the world...

Yeah, her hair needs some dye... OK. The drastic face change has been coming. She's been having plastic surgery for years. While she doesn't look like Renee Zelwegger any more, I think she looks pretty good. If we didn't know Renee Zelwegger existed, we might think this was a good-looking woman. Most importantly, the Brits spell "unrecognizable" with an S?

She is sadly turning into the Female version of Michael Jackson...her new look is scary bad, IMHO.
