She was on Colbert last night and looked the best she ever has with short hair, in my opinion.

That's pretty nice. Not terribly unique or fancy, but a simple style very well done, with body and consistent color. (Given Scarlett's hairstyles of late it's almost a relief.)

Can't see how it could get any better than that

I very much like this, though with the outfit I'm reminded of the woman who played the Soviet boxer's wife in Rocky IV (sorry her name escapes me)...

Really? I'm pretty sure she looked like this when men and women first become obsessed with her.

Personally I'm glad she had all that long, luxurious hair hacked off!

Hey Kramer I also hate the short hair look. Oh well time will tell if she goes long sometime.

For me, the short hair brings out her eyes and her smile more. Nothing wrong with all that flowing sex kitten hair, but Scarlett looks prettier too me without it.

Peace to all

It's so very PC to say that gender-bending haircuts on women are tres cool. But that's not me. I think that this manly-styled short haircut is about as sensual as a scrub brush. BUT, luckily, she still has a beautiful face, and it definitely is not AS bad as her extreme mushroom cut with shaved back and sides.
OK, bring on the hate! lol Angry

saying that something is PC basically trivializes other people's opinions.  You are very welcome to like long hair but it's offensive if I were to tell you that your tastes are "archaic" or "boring". I never thought the lon hair worked for her and think she's had a long history of being hotter with edgier looks, going back to her crazy mullet when she was young.  It's not that I'm politically correct its because I have different taste than you do.

Hey, maybe I LIKE "archaic" and "boring", Trout! Wink

My comment does not "trivialize" anyone else's opinion, BTW. Confused

It does a little bit. You're suggesting we would not have that opinion unless it was something the popular masses would approve of.

The two hairstyles are apples and oranges.  They are sexy in very different ways.  There is no right or wrong answer here

The short style is rather unusual for a Hollywood grade A actress like SJ. It's a bit severe for me, but if she likes it that's all that matters.

NO, not even a little bit, Klaatu. To say that SOME might praise this style to be part of a PC crowd does not preclude the possibility, aye likelihood, that others may genuinely like it. Don't fall for a fallacy of logic, Sir. Smile

P.S. If she wore the same haircut with light bangs, I would have no problem with it, though I certainly don't prefer it to her once-gorgeous long tendrils. Tongue

It looks like she is keeping it short, and has even shaved in a side part. I LOVE this look on her.
