For those with processed hair(dyes, relaxer, etc.) have you noticed a difference in how often your scalp itches (vs. unprocessed hair)?

I'm wondering if chemicals contribute signifcantly to the frequency of scalp itch, even if you use dimethicone-free & sulfate-free products.
