Hi all!

I just had to post this one today. Today is my birthday and I turned 50! Omigod I can't believe I am that old and I also can't believe that I don't feel like what I used to think 50 would feel like. I just want to say I am not too old for long hair! I have always loved long hair. After a very regrettable try at shorter hair over a year ago, I am now letting my hair grow nice and long again. It almost to midback and I love having it longer again. I feel like myself again. Shorter hair was just not ME. So all of you out there in your 30s and 40s who question whether long hair is appropriate at your age, go for it! If you love your hair long and feel good with it long and like the way it looks on you, let it grow. Of course split thin ends look terrible at any age. So keep it healthy and neatly trimmed but I encourage you to have long hair at any age. Long hair is fun and pretty and feminine no matter your age.
