Just bought a new herbal shampoo from Earth Science and I just wanted to know if any of these ingredients were not good to be putting in my hair before I use it.

Water
Sodium Myreth Sulfate
Wheat Germamidopropyl Betaine
Chamomile Extract
Jojoba Oil
Hydrolyzed Wheat protein
Panthenol
Potassium Sorbate
Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate
Lactic Acid.

Thanks in advance.

A few months ago, Lyris sent me a listing of common ingredients in haircare products. This list has come in handy for me when I'm staring glassy- eyed at all the choices of shampoo at my local Big K. Anyway, sodium myreth sulfate is listed as being similar to sodium laureth sulfate which is mild, a good choice. Lyris is the de facto expert on this board in regard to ingredients, among other things.
