With the usual caveat that you can just never truly tell these days, it looks like Zooey Deschanel got herself a bob (whether it'll appear in The New Girl's final season is up in the air... filming ended weeks ago, but apparently that's when the cut happened, too.): |

I didn't know that Zooey used to have a pixie. IMO, it made her appearance very ordinary. This new cut reduces her look from sparkling to a corporate girl-next-door in my eyes.  Disappointing. She is one of the few celebs whom I looked forward to seeing.

She was on Bill Maher this past Friday and it looked MUCH better. Seemed a bit longer (touching her shoulders) with much more volume and flipped out a bit on ends, so much so you might not notice at first that it was cut. This qualifies as a lob, but now that I've seen it looking good, I don't automatically dislike it as I do most lobs. Plus it's Zooey and she's adorable no matter what. ------------- Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE! |

I dunno. I think the shorter hair kind of ages her a bit. I guess the young ones have to grow up, though. |
