Has anyone cut their hair short and regretted it?

I am 3 inches or so below collarbone at the moment, straight hair, fine but quite a lot of it (blonde).

Thinking for a while about getting a lob or bob, and my stylist is really keen.

How long would it take to grow back?

Just now saw this post. What did you decide?

If you pull your hair back, in a ponytail, and you like that look, that is a good approximation for how you will loom with short hair.

My bias is for short hair on women. I find the exposed nape and ears very attractive.

And, as the saying goes, it grows back. It may take a while, but you can get your hair back to a preferred length.
