This Thanksgiving my entire family was down. I've only got two cousins who's hair comes close to mine. One is twenty and the other's twelve. And I also have an aunt who has hair to her mid-back. Mine's waist length and my oldest cousin's is about mid-back. Past her bra strap. It's really weird to look at us together because we both have long hair and part it in the middle. So me and my girl cousin were comparing our hair when one of my male cousins comes over and says "Gee you guys need a haircut." He was kidding of course. But it was great to see more long hair. ------------- Anna :P |

My cousin had long hair to her waist all her life until highschool. I was always envious of her as a child because my mom kept my hair so short and I wanted to grow it out like my cousin. Then highschool hit. I was allowed to grow my hair and she became more interested in "style". Now she has super short frosted hair and is a hairdresser. Her 6 other sisters also have short hair styles (Im talking shorter than shoulderlenght) and they often spike thier hair and frost or color it just like their hairdresser sister. I think one of the younger girls had her hair plum purple with pink highlights at one point, lol. Anyways Im now the long haired one =) The eldest of the 7 girls started to grow her hair long (bra straplenght long) because she wanted it long for her wedding so she could just put it up (I think thats silly! pulling it up just makes it look short again!). Anyways when the wedding was called off she had it cut short again. She cried the entire time. not because her hair was being cut but because she was cutting it becasue there was not going to be a wedding. =( Well, If I ever get married my hair is going to be down with maybe just some of the front up and twisted into a "crown". Either way, marrage or not im not cutting it short. Oh, my point. Im the long haired girl in the sea of shorties. Even my aunt who used to have long hair cut hers. Kate, my parents friend, still has moderately long hair though not as loong as it alway was. I thin she is the prettiest natural women I know. She doesnt color her hair so now its a soft blackish grey and it cascades in waterfalls. Shes just a lovely woman too even without wearing makeup =) |
