Ok, so I'm dense here (I'm also british so we have different slang), but why 'Troll Alert' for spurious postings?I think of trolls as Norwegian gnomes so I'm way confused here...........................

Andy--"Troll" is Internet lingo for someone who lurks on forums and posts incendiary messages just to rile everyone up.For example, back when there was an alt.fan.titanic newsgroup, "trolls" would post things like "Kate Winslet is fat!!" or "Leonardo is gay!!!" or "This film SUCKED! Star Wars rules!"Of course, the best policy is to ignore them, but no one ever does. Usually a "flame war" begins, with everyone posting angry responses to some jerk who is sitting at home laughing his ass off. In this case, JerkyFlea made a good call by alerting us, because it might not have been obvious to all participants.This particular troll seems to be a hair-chopping fetishist. They're more common than you'd think, and the accounts s/he gave were suspiciously similar to the kind of "erotic" stories posted on those sites.Ally ;)
