Here is a fun game we can do. Some of you may have played it. I will ask a question like "salt or pepper?" The next post will answer "salt" then then ask another one like "chocolate cake or chocolate pudding" The next thread would answer then ask another question. Get it?? It can be any two things, just keep it clean

I will start it..............Beach or Pool?

Kevin Costner is a very handsome guy, and I really wanted to be Whitney Houston in THE BODYGUARD, (even if she was a prima donna spoiled brat in that movie).
But Brad Pitt is also a great looking guy and I think he is a better actor. I just think he is the coolest guy, at least in the movies.
( Check out Brad in the British movie SNATCH, if you haven't seen it yet. My fiancee told me about that movie and we watched it a few weeks ago. Very interesting and entertaining movie if you can get past some of the violent scenes in it. SNATCH was directed by Guy Ritchie, the British husband of Madonna).

Ok, Mel or Val Kilmer.
Val is also a really good actor and not too bad looking, but I think I will have to go with the man Mel Gibson. He just seems like not only a cool guy and a pretty good actor but also a nice guy who is good to his family.
So Mel Gibson.

Ok I will give you a very difficult choice. A couple of the best actors ever.
Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino?

Tea

tigh length boots or sandals?

I would also pick DeNiro even though Pacino is great too. I like tea but I'm more of a coffee gal(sorry you Brits!).

The question at hand, thigh length boots or sandals? Well the long boots, maybe some people find them sexy on a lady and with a short skirt they can look great but for comfort I will have to go with SANDALS.

I almost forgot to ask a question!

My question is; the two most popular sports that people watch women play are figure skating and soccer.
What sport would you rather watch a woman play, or perform yourself; soccer or figure skating?

Hello again Maria:

Figure skating is the ultimate sport of feminine grace and beauty.
Unlike so many sports, the women are the real stars of figure skating. The men play second fiddle.
Next question: --- Would would be your vacation preference? A delightful Caribbean beach in winter or the majestic Canadian Rockies in summer?

Lucky Star was so raw and good - she was so far from actually "finding herself"....But Frozen is almost the opposite...as though once she found herself (sex, like a virgin, ray of light, even Music)...she thought she had to keep going and went slightly in the wrong direction. I love young adn full of promise and Attitude Madonna so i guess I go with "lucky Star"....in sort of the same vein I will ask.......

I thought K-Mart was just about broke. Aren't they closing stores everywhere bascially going out of bussiness?>>>>>
I would say neither of them. Their products are ok and affordable but they pay their workers next to nothing as I understand it which I don't approve of. America is supposed to be a first world country not a third world country. Our working people are suppossed to be paid good!.
I have to admit though I do sometimes shop in those kind of stores.

I got a question. Do women look better in a sophisticated looking black dress or a hot colored dress, like a red dress?

I prefer my $4 boar brush by Vidal Sasson (WalMart, baby!)

Dark chocolate.

Baseball, soccer, tennis or golf?

Ditto on the dark chocolate. Yum!

As for springtime sports: my least favourite of those you mentioned is soccer, or football as we call it in Europe. There's too much of it!
My favourite is tennis. Can't wait for Roland Garros and Wimbledon!

On that note: male tennis or female tennis?

Hi Lyris

Figure skating is one of my fave sports - not that I can keep my balance for long...and I have no grace whatsoever on blades.

But.....Gymnastic Rocks!!!!

I thought Vitaly Scherbo was amazing (OK that was 10 years or so ago but I still can't forget the way he moved - like a panther).

What I like about both these sports is the discipline and focus of the individuals, and the way they turn a strenous sport into an art and make it look so effortless.
I also like to watch kids get the bug for these things. How they stumble and are goofy for a while and then comes that "moment" when their bodies and minds just "click". Suddenly, they are in the groove and at one with the music. Pure harmony.

OK....back to the game. Is someone gonna bite?

BEAUTIFULLY COLOURFUL
.......in fresh greens and soft browns and flesh tones....but I like the purity of white on occassion.

On the theme of colours but this time related to minerals:

Do you prefer jewellry made from:

(1) PRECIOUS STONES (emeralds, diamonds, rubies, etc)

or

(2) SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES (citrine, garnet, agate, etc)

...and please specify your favorite stone in the category you choose.

Hands down the dog is my fav choice Uzma! Happy to see you no matter how longyou have been gone from home - even if just 5 mins! Sits with you and provides a shoulder to cry on whenever, without judgement. Only unconditional love.

BTW I loved your painting question and would have answered that I like realist paintings of a light nature (marie cassatts) for my bedroom and places of relaxation and reflection. And impressionists such as Cle or Kandinsky, destijl, or deconstructivists for rooms where the brain needs stimulation - den, living, etc.

Ok - new question - Hair question - Would you classify yourself as a Long Hair Person, or a Short Hair person? (ie, I know people who have had short hair ALL of their lives, they are short haired people) I am a long haired person - though I have had short hair - i always regretted the cut soon after

Jacqui,

Because I wore my hair long through my childhood and into adulthood I thought I was a long haired person but since I have had short hair I found that I am really a short haired person and I feel that I look good AND feel good with short hair!
So I am now, for sure a short haired woman!

I am going to ask the same question but I will add one thing.

Are you a long haired or short haired person AND do you prefer your hair in it's natural color or a different color?
I prefer my natural, dark haired, color of hair.

Long and whatever-color-suits-the-person.

Usually natural, but I have a perfect word I spread in the anime circles : kuso-iro. (the color of fecal matter)

I hate brown hair, so personally, a dye black or dark silver would be fun (and yes I am 18)

Next question : Highlights = beautiful or it looks like a radioactive bird took a dump in their hair ?

Since I'm up late tonight thinking about stuff and I feel philosophical, I will give a two part answer;

Under most circumstances in my everyday life, THE BIBLE.
Under some circumstances, THE CONSTITUTION, because I believe in the seperation of church and state in politics. And I don't believe in religion being forced on people!

As far as THE HITCHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY goes, well, I don't hitchike, it's too dangerous, so I can't be for that!

A political question;
How do you usually vote? Do you usually vote for the Democrats(or Labor Party in Britian), the Republicans( the Conservative Party in Britian) or are you a poltical Independent.
I'm a political Independent, (although I vote more for the Democrats than any other political party, and more than I vote Republican).

Without getting too nasty or condescending about it, what are your political preferences?

Uzma - I didn't get to the pics of the guys, but totally grooved on the roots section. I am fully a believer of us humans and animals being small, concretizations of a larger animal that moves and is all one.... Only perceiving of ourselves and those things around us with the basic senses. Yet
some of us....the ones who are extremely sensitive can "feel" the existance of the rest of the beast around us.Very cool site...keep it growing.

On the question - Biology has always been the most fascinating. But Ecology and Physics run very close behind as well as weave in and out of the former.

Hmmm. I've never heard of any of those anime, which is surprising because my husband is an anime nut!

I am going to go out on my own and say Sailor Moon. While her hair is quite wacky, I like to dress up as her when my husband drags me along to anime conventions. He goes as Tuxedo Mask.
I have a cute fuko and knee high red boots! I used to have a picture online too but schucks the university cancelled my account when I graduated.

Oh wait... my husband was just here and said those 3 characters are all bad guys on Sailor Moon. Shows that I watch it a lot. :p

Yaaaaaawn! I need to get to bed. On that note:

Early to bed, early to rise? OR
Stay up late, sleep all day??

Stay up late, sleep all day !!

sidenote : uzi: I would have to say Kunzite. (Malachite in english dub for those who couldn't guess) However, I find his hair too pale :P More silver, less white. Plus there are a gazillion anime characters I can think of who are worth it.... one of which must be the guy in Pokemon 3 who gets zapped into an Entei. Love his hair :P

So now......Elvis Costello or Elvis Presley?

Best wishes,

I know most people would probably say Presley, but it's Costello for me. I love the late 70s rock/punk/ska - or whatever kind of music you want to call it - genre.
But in the ancient battle between Elvis Costello and Joe Jackson, Joe's the one I like better.

Next one:

Nicole Kidman or Julia Roberts?

That's a toughie.....

Not much to compare acting ability...they both have their moments....

OK. Superficial, subjective judgement based on sweetnes of smile, choice of men and (ahem) length of hair?

I vote for JULIA!!

Bear question.

Are you: GRIZZLY - FOZZIE - or - PADDINGTON?

I have to say Paddington since he seems so much cuter to me although I love bears in general.

This is such an awesome game. I look at it first thing when I sign on.

Now my turn..........

Jennifer Gardner or Jennifer Lopez?

Jennifer Lopez!!!

It's beautiful in the springtime everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere.
What is your favorite season:
Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter???

Autumn of course. Since the air is ambiantly warm, cooling down gradually, not frigid warming up. Plus, it ain't as muddy as in the spring.

Which do you prefer watching ?

Sunrise or Sunset ?

Wish I could tell you the years... those are 2 greatest hits albums, red being early (I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Love Me Do, etc.) Blue being later (Strawberry Fields, Hey Jude...)

LiliBeach, you started all this, but you haven't posted in awhile... where'd you go?

White! But it's so hard to find white outfits that aren't see-through.

Go out to the movies, or buy a VHS/DVD? (They're about the same cost, if there's 2 of you!)

Uzma,

I don't like wearing a watch, even though I am very good about being on time. I use clocks.

I have, of course, a clock at home, a clock in my car,and a clock at work, so I don't really need to wear a watch. I just don't like wearing a watch for some reason.

Uzma, my fiancee and I watched an English soccer game today they were showing here. That famous team Manchester United was playing. They were wearing the red uniforms. Boy are they good Uzma! Manchester won the game 4-1. They can really pass the ball good with their feet, they are like majicians the way they play, no wonder they are so popular!
Beckham, the guy who is married to Posh Spice got a goal. The other goals were scored by some Dutch guy who my fiancee said is the best player, a name with a "Van" at the beginning of it, you know, a Dutch name.
I really enjoyed watching the game, I can see how British people like soccer so much. I played soccer a little when I was a kid on a school team. It is a fun sport!

In the military they use a twenty four hour clock I know. In civilian life we usually use a twelve hour clock. Since I'm not in the military I will say a twelve hour clock since that is what I use.

I think someone asked a sports question before but I will ask one again because my guy and I just watched a really cool soccer game from England today.

Do you like to watch the most popular sport in Europe, soccer? Or do you like to watch the most popluar sport in America, baseball?

Hi Lady Maria,

Good to see you.

Well I used to love baseball...since I grew up in St. Louis which is a huge baseball city. However, since I moved to Dallas...which is not a huge baseball city...I tend to prefer soccer. Plus you get to see some great legs. :-)

And since we are on the subject of sport....

Next one:

Women's professional basketball or men's professional basketball?

Best wishes,
Karen

I'm glad you like soccer Karen, I have been getting into it a little, my guy is into it. I like baseball a little too. I also love to watch figure skating!

Women's basketball. You have to admire their strength and agility and courage.

I love this game. Very thought provoking.

So now for the next question..............

Hot Fudge Sundae or Banana Split? One of the basic fundamental food groups. :-)
