Dear Karen,

Hello. I have naturally curly hair and it`s dark brown. My hair is 50% gray/white and I have been coloring it 4 years using L`Oreal Excellence Permanent Hair color Cream #5 Med. Brown with 20 Volume. Also, I add to the color RGC, which is eliminates brassy, red, and gold tones.

Well, my hair stylist has noticed that I have lost my curliness and the hair has started to flatten out on top. Also, I have had an increase in MPB and thinning on top. I am concerned about the thinning and lost of curl, which I believe has an association to the hair coloring. Can you suggest anything as to the above situation? BTW, I have very stubborn gray/white hair and I am concerned about my continued use of hair color possibbly causing more hair loss and thinning.

Sincerely,

Niko
