AFTER ALL THE COLOR,BLEACH, RELAX HAIR THIS YEAR ..NO MORE.......I WILL BE USING A NATURALAXER..ANYWAY, MY HAIR IS STILL BREAKING. WHEN I COMB(SEAMLESS) I HEAR MY HAIR SNAPPING OFF. I AM SCARED TO EVEN COMB IT. I HAVE NEVER LOST HAIR IN CHUNKS(THANK GOD). BUT THE BREAKAGE EVERY TIME I COMB IT. WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS BREAKAGE. I HAVE NOT BEEN MOISTURIZING MY HAIR AND ENDS EVERYDAY, SLEEP ON A SATIN SCARF. BUT NOT WITH MUCH AVAIL. MY FIRST HAIR GOAL IS TO ACHIEVE SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR...BUT THE BREAKAGE IS NOT HELPING. WILL HAIR VITAMINS HELP?

MY HAIR IS IN LAYER....I AM TRYING DESPERATELY TO EVEN ALL MY HAIR

ALL SUGGESTION/COMMENTS WELCOMED

Yes hair vitamins will help you. I am not sure if all hair vitamins are the same or not but the ones I take contains alot of the vitamin B which I believe vitamin B 12 fights against stress. Stress causes breakage. Try to also make sure that it contains silica or a similar product because that would strenghened your hair and make it more flexible. I would also suggest using a leave in conditioner if you can.
I went through a period that my hair was breaking and now it is just fine.

What are you moisturising with Tanya? And how gently are you combing? My suggestion I think would be using a little jojoba oil on your ends and length - that can work wonders! Growing long hair isn`t always easy - but it *is* worth it!

Hello,

what sort of combs are you using? Plastic combs often consist of two parts that are put together and the ends are not rounded so they can cut off hair if it is tangled or if it has knotes. I use a wide touthed hard rubber saw cut comb with rounded teeth and before combing a conditioner, this really helps against breaking through combing. I have recognized that dry hair sometimes has electrostatic charges and in this state combing causes an increase of breakage.
