I have used clairol option that was discontinued and then Great Day that also has been discontinued. Both of these products worked pretty well. I did not care about roots because with thick, curly hair you could not see them. I like these products because I can control the color and let some gray show, salt and pepper. Since great day has been discontinued, are there any similiar products. Clairol Option was particulary good since you didn`t need gloves. I tried Grecian formular in past, but did not like not shampooing hair. Any suggestions? Do color enhancing shampoos work? Which ones?
