Okay, maybe not always. I was trying to get you to read this and it must have worked. =)

My hair is naturally very curly and thick. I could easily grow the "curly bad boy look" depicted elsewhere in this site. Actually, I`ve worn it very similar to that except shorter for the last 6 months or so. Until now. I`m now going for a somewhat longer (4-6 inches on top), less curly look. This is fine; I`ve had my hair straightened enough that it`s wavy but not unmanageable like it was before. It looks perfect when wet (not dripping, but wet) with nothing in it. When it dries, though, it looks dry and frizzy. This has always been the case; I used to use gel to give the curls definition and lessen the frizz factor. Now, gel overpowers it, taking away volume (I never thought THAT would happen to me!) and cementing it to my head.

All of that comes down to this: I want wavy, damp-looking hair that moves. Paul Walker`s hair in The Fast & The Furious is a great example of what I`m going for. Right now, my hair does that when it`s wet but goes dry and frizzy. By the way, my hairdresser says my hair isn`t dry, so it`s not that I don`t take care of it.

Thanks in advance!

-Seth
