It`s shoulder length and wavey. I want to do it myself for the experience but I don`t want to mess it up. I don`t have clippers although I am willing to give them a try. What is the longest I can cut my hair with clippers as I`ve never used them before and I don`t want to go too short. I do have sharp haircutting scissors that I use for small trims. Using my scissors I am pretty OK - although the back and tops I wish to cut to about 1 to 2 inch in length which means I need to cut off about 5 inches. Any good tips
