i have trouble trying to keep my hair straight, natural and dry looking.

i like to keep my hair at a medium length but i dont have time to keep it right for college.

to get it how i like it during holidays, after having a bath, i leave a cap on for afew hours and it keeps it straight and how i like it. just like the pictures on my website.

www.faceparty.com/johnpope

in the college weeks however, i have like 15 minutes to get ready and i end up just sticking a hat on for the day, but i want to have days where i can just go with no cap on. but i dont know how to achieve it.

ive heard alot about pomade, but it''s really hard to get here so i was wondering if there was anything else (im in Newcastle, UK)

oh yeah, and on other days, i like to have a wet look, like ive just gettin out the shower...but it goes it great just after ive dried it and its a little damp, but once it''s dried, it goes horrible and not right anymore.

anybody give me any advice on these things?

much appreciated!!!!!

I see. My hair is like yours. Last year, I wanted to get the same style. Somedays, I just had to towel-dry, comb and go out, and I would keep this style all day long. On other days, after spending 5 minutes outside, my hair would look very bad, like all freezy and tied back....and I need some hair to be combed forward, 'cause of my forehead...If only I had thick, straight hair....but u've got to ask ur hairdresser, maybe he could help you...
maybe u can use a thickening shampoo (thickerfullerhair line), and the "Stiff" straightening balm (there is one u can use without blowdrying) or use a light pomade...

i go to a Barbers to get my hair trimmed down.

i can sit down, he can cut it like i want it. he used to be **** but he's gettin much better. he knows how i like it, so i can go in, sit down, 10 minutes later its cut well.

i take care of my hair myself. i dont bother with salons and stuff, im a student now...so .i need to save my money for other things and try keep my hair at a way which it will look good, but also easy to do. i found this the best length but still abit annoying

i sometimes use straighteners to keep hair flat but thats on days when i have time
