Hi. I just came from fro to fade.. well not fade, all even =p. I got my cut about 2 weeks ago. I've been brushing alot and I'm startingto get waves a little on the top. I've been brushing the sides too. I brush the sides forward like the top. I've read that its better to brush down, but when I do it makes a part on my head that looks like its separating the sides and top. This is making me really mad! Same for the back of my head too but not as annoying as this. Am I doing this right? How should I brush the sides downward? Thanks.

How long is yo hair now? That happens to me when my hair gets too long. That's how I know that it needs to be cut.
or..
you could just brush the sides forward. The only thing with that is that you will have another part between the area behind yo ears and the back of yo head. (since you are brushin the back down)
Of course you could kind of brush the sides in differed directions. Like the front of the side brush forward, the middle slanted and the back down... etc. but as u can see, it gets complicated.
What I do is..brush the sides down and then I kind smooth the part out with my brush after. It's easier to deal with the part in the front from brushin down, than it is to deal with the one in the back when you brush forward.
