well im not sure if its damaged, but when i take a shower, afterwards, for like 10 mins after the shower my hair is perfect, very soft, smooth and easy to handle, a little frizzy but okay, but overall nice. **When my hair dries, it becomes course, puffy, and overall looks damaged, I constantly have to add water to my hair to keep it soft and straight.
Are there any hair gels or shampoos that can help? is my hair lacking some sort of nutrient?
Any help is appreciated

im not african american, it doesent get very puffy, just a bit, and the texture isnt smooth, its sort of rough, and very ahrd to manage.
