Before I answer this I have to ask you this. How long have you already been doing yo current method? Usually people will have a small bit of difference in their methods, but basicly we are all following the same basic guidelines. If you are following these basics yo waves will come in with time. Wash hair 2-4 times a day (I do mine twice a day. I use Head & Shoulders to keep my dandruff from comin back) Apply some kind of moisturerizer while hair is still wet. (I use Pink Oil) Brush hair for 1-3 minutes (I usually brush mine for three) Apply a pomade or Wave gel (I got my waves with S-curl 360 and occaisonal Murray's, now I use S-curl Wave Gel Activator) Brush hair for 7-10 minutes (I brush for ten) Apply a durag for 15 minutes or overnight (Most of the time I wear my durag or wavecap right after I shower and then take it off after about 15 min if it's day time. If it's b4 I go to bed, I wear it overnight) Other than that.. brush periodically throughout the day. (I try to brush mine 20 min every 2 hours, sometimes a little more or a little less) Those are the basic steps with my variation. Just follow the basics and add what ever little extras you want, but if u follow those, your waves will come in.  -------------  United Waves of America |

I do the same thing except without the pink oil. I have read on here that some people put the pinkoil in after they put there pomade in. I was wondering would Let's Jam be consider a gel? ------------- |

A yo instead of just using the wave gel im wanted to know can i use my sportin waves maximum pomade with the wave gel? Do yall think this method is better? ------------- |

1. Wash my hair with Pantene Pro V 2. Put in the S-Curl wave gel 3. Brush my hair for like a min or 2 4. Put in pink lotion 5. Brush hair for like 20-30 min 6. Stocking cap for 30 min 7. Take off cap and brush like crazy 8. 1.wash my hair 2.put s curl gel in 3. brush for 5 4.pink lotion then murrays 5.brush head for 10 mins 6.stockin cap + du rag till head dries 7.brush the whole day 8.wash hair at night 9.put s curl gel in again 10.then pink lotion then 360 pomade 11.brush 12.go 2 sleep with stockin and du rag 13. wake up and just put s-curl in with pink lotion both morning and night and just brush.....dont wash then the next day it starts at step 1 ------------- Bet you never even felt the heat till i put the M-1 next to ya waves and melt the greaseWhat Im Workin WitDiane brush & Soft Brush both militaryMurrys Super Light Pomade/Nu Nile |
