I am in the process of growing my hair long, thick and in a pushed back style. Currently I feel my hair is not very healthy like it should be.
As you can see from the picture, my hair tends to spike up hence the reason for the hair band.
I try and use Vosene hair shampoo and Vosene hair Conditioner atleast twice a week.
Although my efforts with trying to keep my hair in good condiiton it just stays in average condition.
I dont know what to do, and when I go for a haircut, what kind of hair cut do I get that will let me grow my hair long without my sides and back getting all messy?

it looks like a brush (u know, the ones with the wooden handles and real hair bristles)

LoL ok I was able to find a brush.
Regarding the haricut though, if I wnat to growit longer then it currently is, what type should I get on the sides/back as I wnat to be able to push my hair back and then curl the front (Curtain hair style).

all i can say is, ur hair looks like one of those brushes u use to clean shoes with.
