I bet this was back in slavery times like in the 1900s. I bet cats would be out in the fields brushin there hair and waves just popped up lol

Yeah thats a good question, i'm also wandering what caused the hype. I started out in '99 when I was looking for some next grease just to groom my hair and the women in the shop pointed out Sportin' Waves. Neva knew about waves until then, then I got working but not many people had them. All of a sudden everyone is jumping on the wave thing, I just wonder what caused the stir

I use to rock a taper afro alot, but then i saw my cousin with some ill 360 waves and i said i gotta have em and got rid of the fro and started brushing.

i wanted em cuz i use to have str8 hair.i got about 10-15wave caps.but i had NO WAVES.so evry1 would ask y i was wearin em if u dont have waves.so i hadda get em
