all of my life. the entire thing. no matter what length my hair was. it always had angles in the front. and just a tiny bit of layering at the bottom of my hair. except for right this minute. because the layers at the bottom of my hair really dont exist.

so im getting a load of layers all over.

although im ready for the change. i cant help but feel horribly pessimistic. generally, i feel that way about everything though. and im sure it will turn out fine.

just thought id share.

I´m sure layers will be fine. But why do we (and I mean this in a general way, I sure work that way too) always change our hair when we feel negative and fed up? When did you ever hear someone say: "Hey, I am and feel so great, I´m going to the hairdressers to really reward myself!" No, we use the salon (maybe it´s the touch we crave?) to comfort ourselves, don´t we? Anyone have a thought on this?

For those who feel the need of an immediate change... some immediate change.... any immediate change... the salon can make it happen. Whether or not it ends up being perceived as a positive change depends on the individual and the amount of time passed since the change was made.

And if the need is for touch or attention, that can be provided by salons, too, even if the stylist doesn't change anything. A wash/condition/dry/style session might just fit the bill.
