Hey all, I have a styling problem for you. I currently use American Crew Matte and Fibre to style my hair. It is a few inches long, and I kind of go for the tussled/stylish look. Anyway, I lead an active lifestyle, which often results in me sweating some. This disolves these hair products, and deposits them on my forehead and in my eyes, and leaves my carefully styled hair in a mess. Is there a hair product out there that is sweat/water resistant? I know water proof would be kinda dumb, because hair products should wash out, but I just need something that dosn't just melt at the first sign of moisture. Any ideas? Thanks, much appreciated.

have you tried wax. wax is very resistant to moisture. i once used Brylcream wax stick. it stayed on my hair for 2 days, if i dont shampoo. but then if you put it one this morning and you wash your hair in the afternoon, there is still wax left at night. just try to find those hard wax, those are very hard to wash out, which is exactly what you want right? something that does not melt when you sweat excessivley.
