Has Anyone Ever Shipped Wig Back to China?  If so, did you do regular mail, UPS, priority, etc.

Also, if you did, how much did it cost?

Yes, I have, plenty of times!  I used USPS service and it cost about 22.00.  you have to fill out a form for customs so don't put any value on it or it will be held in customs.  Don't worry it will go through if you don't put any value on it.  If you use ups, or fed it will cost you $$$$$$.  It's funny how it cost less for china to send ups or fedex but it's very expensive for us to send anything there.  HTH!Smile

i personally don't trust USPS, i did that for a member that lived in the UK and they never got it, it was held up in customs forever and my insurance didn't mean nothing to them..it came back to me 6 months later like rubber i sent them ORWG.. and it cost me money b/c i had to refund the money they sent me when they didn't get it timely, b/c i didn't want anybody thinking i ripped them off.. and i'll never do that again.. i use UPS and it got there and yes weave is right don't put more than a 50 $$ value otherwise you have to pay a import fee..

for sending back my units to be repaired USPS is the best route to go.  It only cost $22. the down side is that it does take about a week to get to china.

Thanks Weave4dayz365 and Sexibeach.  I have one I'm thinking about sending back for a remake, not sure if it would be worth it or not because I was not sure of the cost.

Thanks for the quick responseBroken%20Heart  I love the sisterhood on this board.

When you used USPS did you do priority shipping or just first class?

Sexi,

Do you remember how much UPS charged you to ship.  I called them today for an estimate to the zip code, they told me $100.  I almost fell off my chair.

I havent shipped back to China before BUT i do know that the vendors use an equivalent of USPS (Known as EMS Worldwide). They use priority for this and it takes about a week because of customs. It costs slightly more ($30 instead of $22) because the EMS rates are dictated by all the countries that share this service.

=============================

I ordered a full lace and got a lace front.  They will remake it if I send it back.  I don't like the feel of the straps in the back, it feels too much like a wig.  It's shorter than most people wear, it's only 8".

I just sent it back via priority mail and she said I could not track it.  What type of mail did you use (return receipt, etc.?)
