You guys can't laugh at this... my boyfriend has some scalp damage that has caused hair loss due to a perm solution (don't ask- this happened back in the eighties). I believe that the solution may have sealed pores or killed hair follicles (I know I could be way off- that's just my best guess). He keeps his head shaved because he's quite embarrased by it (I personally think it's sexy) and wears a hat all the time. He's very reluctant to try anything drastic (like implants, hair club, etc.). My questions is: is this damage permanent or is there hope for re-growth? Please help!PS-Great site!!!!

Hi,This is no laughing matter at all, I sympathise with the problem, as His hair has'nt grown back I would take Him to a accredited Tricologist, so the extent of scalp damage can be professionally accessed, and treated, hopefully new hair will grow as there are procedures to jump start blocked hair follicles hopefully that's what it is, fingers crossed!!!!!!Good Luck,Simone.(C). :)
