after perming my hair 5 months ago and dyin it a week before my hair feels very dry and brittle. I have tried every mousse hairspray, gel known out there but it just seems to make my hair even worse. I know i have beatiful curls but i dont know how to go about in bringin them back to life...it seems to just stay dull, flat and dry. Moouse gels n hairspray just leaves my hair dry and crispy so it makes it worse....I want soft beatiful defined curls!!....plz say its possiable any would be greatly appreciated thanks

it's definitely possible......revive your hair by getting a deep conditioning every three weeks or so (with heat), then do one yourself (leave your conditioner in longer....perhaps overnight) every week.......also, i use a high quality (from the health food store) safflower oil (high in oleic acid & natural fatty acids)on the bottom section of my hair (so as not to weigh hair down and make scalp look greasy) and i use a shine product all over AND a leave-in conditioner......(i use quite a bit of oil.....this will transform your hair)......styling products like mousse, gel and hairspray make hair sticky and less healthy!!! also, i use a GREAT conditioner by Pativa.....called 'curl revitalizer'......do all this and your beautiful, soft curls will come alive-----

enjoy!

Hi, I use Vidal Sassoon Mousse. Here it come in a Burgundy coloured can. It's great. I apply it to wet hair, give it a good scruching with my head upside down then wrap it in a towel. Just before I'm about to leave I take the towel off and re scrunch the hair which takes the stiffness out and your left with soft curls that last all day.
