i realized that i made mad G's over the years and had nuthin to show for it.....no car....nuthin
so now im saving as much as i can but rent, bills, and loans eat my money away so i still end up with the same couple g's.....but whatcha gonna do......

I don't think having a gf would matter. The money would still be gone in 3 days.

Either way, that experiment shows that black people don't care about the future. I'm sure if you polled the guys here almost none of them have a college savings fund. I didn't have one until my dad died and even then it wasn't enough. But I'm going to break that cycle with my nephew. I'm not buying him any gifts until he's like 12, so whatever money I would have spent on him goes into an account.
