Hey guys,
Everyone seems to be getting excited about teams so Karen has asked me to put together a plan for how we should have teams battle each other. I have a few ideas and have been reading the suggestions posted already, but I'd like it if you guys will give me some more feedback and ideas.
Let me know what you guys want and I'll try to put together something that everyone likes.

Here are some of my current thoughts, although they are all open to change:
Teams should be fairly small to keep everything competitive. I'm thinking 5 members total, 1 being captain.
I could make a new forum just for team battles to take place. It would be closed like the current battle forum to keep it clean, but anyone could post a reply in a battle poll - just not make new topics.
Offical competitions should be held possibly once a month?
I'd like to give each team its own subforum where only its members can talk.
We could possibly do ladder tournaments to determine the top teams.
I've got a million other ideas but I'm going to sit back for a while and see what you guys suggest.

Ladder tournaments are a cool way of ranking teams. Let's say after random selection that the following ranking are as follows.
Team A - 1st
Team B - 2nd
Team C - 3rd
If a fourth Team (Team D) shows up, they will start out in 4th. If they want to get a better ranking, they can challenge Team C only. If Team C loses the challenge or does not respond within enough time (forfeit), then Team D becomes 3rd and Team C becomes 4th. Team C then has the option to challenge Team B.
It's called a ladder tournament b/c of the way the teams rankings are set up and the way you have to "climb" each step to the top.

The ladder idea makes sense. Its easier to keep track of than a random challenge tournament sytem or most other systems. Its just a list of teams and thier current rank. Interesting..
I'm having trouble figuring out one part of this....how we are going to compare team vs team during a battle.
It would be easiest to simply make 1 poll for a team vs a team, put all member's pics (5 each) up there, and have everyone choose which team is the best overall.
However, many of you have expressed interest in comparing each member in one team against each member in the other team. If we do this, who decides who goes up against who?
One idea is for team captains to rank their members 1st to 5th and we could do 1vs1 for 1st against 1st through 5th against 5th.
The other problem that presents itself is that we would have to have a separate poll for each 1on1 between the teams and everyone would need to vote 5 times. Is this going to be a problem?

Ok battling pics could be like

And then the the 2 captains come to an decision of who battles who based on weakness and strengths....

i have an idea...well it goes like dis... the top team voted before the battle starts will have the oppertunity to pic one person out of another team of their choice ...........then they battle{vote for the best waves}and who ever looses is out ..then u just go down the row to there is only to people standing .........in the meen while the ones who lost will be brushin getting ready for the next battle

im just throwing ideas out .......but how postin a poll rating each side of a person head left,right,top,back, 1-5 and and all the points up ....idk maybe we can u dis in some way,,,,,,,

what up fresh, it's ya boy futuristic,finally i'm surrounded by people who actually understand the wave game. i see ya waves and i don't just like them i appreciate them because i know you came a long way so much respect.I been in the wave game for about 12 years and it's been nothin but positive comments when people talk about them,so i was woundering if you could keep me posted on the teams because i want nothing but the best and if i have to work or compete for it, then so be it. When i get time im gonna post my picture
