many of yall have seen my pics already so i won't post them again unless need be...but anways, my waves aren't coming in rows, they are scattered...is that normal progress?...just wondering if thats how most of yall came in or what?
see i didn't start brushin it while it was short either i waited till it grew out then brushed it...yeah, maybe you're right BIG..i'll wait it out for some more weeks and see what will happen w/ it.
i wanna spin too, lemme do it

Since you didn't start brushing while your hair was short, you need to use a medium or hard brush to make sure that you're training your undergrowth. If your undergrowth is not being trained, you'll have surface waves. Surface waves are the ones that dissappear after you get a haircut or wash your hair. A well trained ingrain is the foundation of a good 360 wave pattern.

Ladywaves follow the advice of these guys. The scattered rows of waves are better then no waves. This means that your pattern is starting to develop. Because you are coming from a base of no waves they will take time to come in. Take me for example, 6 months ago my right side waves were connecting all crazy. But now they are starting to all line up together. After every wolfing' session, my right gets better and better. So don't worry. Eventually those waves will be spinning like crazy.

Yeah just keep brushing...If you upgrade to the hard brush and its too hard stick with the medium and keep ya dome moisturized...the first pic i put on the site my waves were scattered too now theyre picking up and forming ull be guud

i tried a hard today...ooooo doggie...it didn't feel too bad but not completely ready for that yet...i'll give it a week or two...then try again...i got some thick @ss hair but um yeah...smh
