Colour Touch 8/81?

Hi guys,

Bought this as I'd heard it was an excellent toner for ashy/grey hair. However I thought it would be blue in colour and instead it was yellow?

Anyway I'm wondering if I got a bad batch because it did little to nothing to my bleached hair, even when left on for an hour.

Do I complain to Wella?

Or was it because I didn't mix it with the colour touch brand developer?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
