Oh well. Trolls are such old hat that there's no "shock" effect to be had. Besides, anybody who seriously urged me to cut my hair would only increase my resolve (as if that's even possible) to keep my hair long.

Oh come on, Dave! This is no ordinary troll. This cracks me up. This is poetry! It's too funny to be disturbing poetry.
I agree SuperGrover. The troll's poetry is not at all disturbing. Cute that he tried to rise up to Jean's challenge. And I love Uzi's inspired poetic responses. I don't wonder any more how she got her nickname.

Okay, so let me see if I understand this... the 'Toad claims he isn't a troll... and then he says he is here, on the "Long Hair Support" board (of all places), to "cut and cut and cut." Hmm.... I just can't seem to find a way to reconcile these statements...
I think his poems are kind of whimsical. Not necesseraly what you would find in a published book, but a few of them have great imagery and interesting sounds. Not that i would let a toad cut my hair!
Uzi, do you write often? Your poems are very good. i liked your medusa and steel poem quite a bit. I could definately see you as a professional writer.
