Shimmer Lights?

Yes, I've used this product before. Thing is, it's not really intended to lighten your hair, per se. It is intended to reduce brassiness (unwanted gold or orange tones) in already light hair. Usually people with bleached or highlighted hair would use this product -- and, yes, it does work to give hair a more silver or ash tone. It does NOT, however, lighten your color at all. You can get it at many drug stores, and all Sally's Beauty Supply stores.
