I just got a body wave yesterday. Do I really need to wait 48 hours before washing and blow drying it or can I go ahead and do it now? Is the only risk I should worry about is the perm not taking?

When the perm is done, it either took or it did'nt. If your hair has had a chance to dry completely like say 12 hours, you can go ahead and wash it. I have asked this question of many Perm companies and they all gave me the same answer: Yes, you can wash it.

We use perms in our salon that require you not to wash for 24 hours and one that requires 48 hours. If this is what your stylist who u trusted to give you the perm requested, do it
