QuoteReplyTopic: did I get overcharged? Posted: July 23 2006 at 8:53am
I removed my old set of seamless wefts and protac, washed my hair, added the tape to a new set of seamless wefts, cut the wefts to appropriate lengths and brought them to my stylist to install. I was in the chair for 45 minutes and we were done. She charged me $175. Does that seem like a lot?
I didn't put them in myself because I can't see the back of my head and I don't have anyone to help me. If I were doing regular wefts I could probably manage but the seamless wefts are a little more involved to get it right. Plus, I don't trust myself with cutting the hair!

Don't pay that kind of money again, what is the worse you can do? If you put it in bac, then you just have to take them out and replace. If you don't trust cutting them, then go to a stylist, but whoever did your hair RIPPED YOU OFF!!!
Next time, just try it yourself.

that is pretting high for that- when i do work that someone brings me their hair, i do the prep, use my own supplies and charge hourly- between $100-150 per hour- i use a timer as well so the only time they are charged for is while i work on them. that job would of taken me 20 mins to install and shape up if you brought me everything already prepared. otherwise 30 mins total.
