Does anyone here deal with this ebay seller (who i believe is also a member here)?

I ordered and paid for some extensions by email a couple of weeks ago and I have mailed over & over asking if they have been sent as I have to go to the post office to get them when they arrive, and had no reply to all but one of my emails - that one I finally sent to her by the ebay messaging system as I was wondering if my email address was going to her spam folder or something

in that one she asked what my ebay auction number was - i replied back saying i had brought from her by email not ebay and so didnt have an auction number, and i have since emailed several more times and had no reply - Im starting to worry that I have forked out $150 and Im not going to see my product

anyone got any suggestions?  Or salvagestock if you are reading this can you please reply to me and let me know whats going on?

Im going to try emailing from a different email account and see if that works...

I paid by paypal but dont have a contact number - I found her on ebay and when i mailed there her hubby mailed me back saying I could order direct by email and it would be cheaper than the buy now on ebay.

I through id be ok as she has a lot of good feedback on ebay and lots of people have mentioned that she is quick to reply good with communication and ships items really fast.

Maybe Im being unrealistic expecting the items to be in Australiaafter 2 and a half weeks but I dont think its unfair to expect that 2 & 1/2 weeks after payment she can at least tell me when and if shes shipped them!!!

Ive waited longer than 2.5 weeks for stuff to arrive before - but the seller has always kept in touch and let me knwo when they shipped - its pissing me off that salvage stock - well out of about 8+ emails I sent her she has replied to two.  I got a reply to the one I sent from a different email account, I sent it about 5 or 6  days ago and 1 days later got a reply saying im so sorry im going through my emails now and will get back to you ASAP.

Another 2 days goes by and nothing more, so I email her again saying that I really need to know if the hair is on its way as I have alopecia and need to replace my current extensiions, and if her hair isnt being sent then I need to order some more.  I said in that email that I didnt want to but if she didnt reply with a definitve answer soon telling me IF my hair had been shipped and WHEN, that I would be contacting paypal for a refund.  I waited another 2-3 days, no reply.
So I emailed her today saying I am giving her 24 hours to tell me what the shipping status of my order is then contacting paypal for a dispute of payment and that I will be posting on this forum and all others I subscribe to, my experience with this seller.  I also said I was sorry it came to this but I was fed up with emailing her and getting no answers.

do people think Im being unfair here?  Its not that I expect the items to have arrived by now - I just want to know whether or not she has sent them!

I dont think you are being unfair. In fact you are in a bad situation and you have EVERY right to some answers. You have a right to the products that you have already paid for. I would just start the paypal dispute now. 2 & 1/2 weeks is not acceptable to wait to even find out if the items have shipped.

you're not being unfair or unreasonable. Stop emailing her, she's obviously avoiding you. Let paypal know , start the dispute with them, they'll give her 48hrs. I think to respond. If she doesn't, you'll win by default and will receive a refund minus about $25. Let them deal with her, they'll get her, they're going to want there money back from her. Thank God you paid with paypal. That was an excellent decision on your part.

well I emailed this morning saying she had one day to give me an answer on where it is, I know she is in the UK so wont be up till tonight so if there is no response in the morning Im going to log it with paypal.  I have alopecia so Im desperate for some new hair as my currnt install of thermofibre is about 8-9 weeks old and very much at the end of its life.

Anyone know anywhere else I can get remy asian hair for arouns $38 AUD per weft which was her price - and where the shipping to Australia is reasonably price (some places add up to $30 per weft on to ship which is ridiculous)

Not that it's your fault, I am sure you thought they were just trying to help you out... but Ebay is really clear about their rules against that.  I guess they are leary of sellers that make deals that way.  The seller can have great feedback from what they sold thru Ebay- but you never know how many people they gave the runaround  to by dealing with off site. You can't leave neg feedback and that sucks, but if you don't get anything resolved with them- you can email Ebay and report to them what happened anyway. They will not be happy when they know a seller pulled that.

Offers to buy or sell outside of eBay are a potential fraud risk for both buyers and sellers. These offers also undermine the trust and legitimacy of eBay’s marketplace and are not protected by eBay protection programs. Additionally, these offers circumvent eBay's fees, which creates an unlevel playing field for sellers who do not circumvent eBay fees.

Yea I saw taht on ebay after - but they had offered me what amounted to a $40 discount and seemed to be ok as they had good feedback on ebay and on this forum (apart from one by amm but that was on quality not delivery)

anyway lesson learnt and i will report to ebay as well if this isnt sorted out

more annoying than losing $25 or whatever is the delay as now I will have to wait till i get my refund then order elsewhere then wait until that arrives - GRRR!

Kimmyh51...

I think it is extremely rude that this seller can't respond to your email regarding your shipment! She must have access to email constantly, as how would she know of her ebay sales, or notifications of paypal payments? Or you can check and see if she's left feedback for others during this time you've emailed her. That would be a dead giveaway that she's in constant contact with her computer!

Do you know of the shipping method? You could go online to check the approximate amount of business days it would take to arrive with a postal/shipping service...considering if she mailed it out within a few days of your payment.

Still, start filing a claim with Paypal immediately.  You can always cancel the claim if the hair does arrive meanwhile. But at least the claim might get her attention?  File for the cost of hair plus the shipping charges.  If she fails to respond to the claim within 10 business days, you will receive a refund of the total amount you've requested by default.(happened to me) If she does respond, then she has to provide proof of mailing with some sort of tracking number...then the waiting begins... Paypal allows for 30 days of evaluating the claim to come to a decision.  Or you could do what I had to do, as Paypal was taking longer than the 30 business days with mine, so I just ended up filing a dispute with my credit card company, who refunded me asap.

I wish you luck with getting that $150 back, or the hair arrives for you tomorrow. If not, hopefully someone here can help you find the type of hair you're looking for.Smile

Ive posted a dispute with paypal and if i dont hear back from her in the next day - because I know shes online daily - checked her ebay, I will escalate that to a claim for my money back. Im also temped to do a buy now on some of her items and then post feedback that goes something along the lines of hey i already paid for this how about sending it!!!

Report her to ebay. Do you still have a copy of the email they sent offering the discounted hair? Forward that to them.

Report her to PayPal and be done with it. I know you're hurt and upset but you're stressing yourself out too much about this. Reporting her to these companies is all you can do. She is going to be in serious trouble with Ebay. Don't but anything from her just to leave negative feedback.
Don't worry about her getting away with it, she won't. They'll most likely suspend, if not terminate her account. Sellers make offers like that to avooid paying Ebay their fees. They'll handle her.
I don't know this companies shipping policies but they sell Asian and Indian remy hair and are very reasonably priced. WWW.MYMANEATTRACTIONS.COM. They also sell skin wefts which may be a better option for you than regular wefts.
Everything is going to work out fine. Don't let this women stress you out. She'll get hers, they always do.

thanks for the link - unfortunately theirs is over $100 USD a weft, which works out at probably 4- 5 times the price salvagestock was offering. shes finally responded saying she sent it and is going to resend - i said she needs to do that asap as if it isnt resolved in 20 days then I am forced to make it a claim to keep any paypal protection.

she said she has been in hospital (I hknow she had before as it was on her ebay site) and that the ebay activity was an auto auction tool not her logging in herself

hi kimmy, its niki here, just to let you know if you are online here that your order has been resent today international signed for. i included an extra pack for u as a good will gesture. the first lot was sent on 27th july so i would have though you would have received by now so i will resend just incase. if you get 2 lots come through just email me let me know hunni cos i will put a claim in with royal mail this end. royal mail have ad strikes in the uk last month (see www.royalmail.com for details of industrial action strikes) so post may be bit delayed & this might be reason for delay. but i will resend recorded just incase. I do consider myself a good honest seller on ebay, i have never allowed a single customer not to receive their hair & always honour any items lost & place the claim myself this end. The hair is great quality at an affordable price and i think is wonderful value for money.

Again i apologise for the delay responding to your email, as i mentioned i promise i would never ignore anyone on purpose, as u were aware i was in hospital for a while with the disc bulge (slipped disc) and now am out of hospital am trying to get things back to normal and respond to emails as soon as received. Im always here to help anyone who needs anything anytime & promise i am here to assist you.

Let me know if u are on here hunni as im not sure how this forum thing works and if u are online here or not etc
Best wishes

Hi, Salvagestock. No one answered her emails. We understand that you were hospitalized but SOMEONE could have said SOMETHING. Someone said they would get back to her in one email and then....nothing. She just wanted to know if it had been sent.

My advice to anyone that does sell on Ebay, when you ship an item to a buyer, let them know that you have done so, and provide them with a tracking number as well.  That can at least help eliminate situations like this.
Ahh..... this world of all these "automated systems". Ermm

hi everyone, thanks for your comments, mshoney, u are right & i again apologise to kimmy, i have learned a valuable lesson from this, because before my back 'went' i took care of all the emails (to be honest i didnt think my husband would do a very good job as he types so slow) so when my disc slipped no-one was in a position to take over so to speak, from me being in hospital, my husband had to do his best & has actually learned alot in this time. I hope to goodness i am never in the position again (it was tooo painful!) but if i am ever not able to work, i have someone there to carry on for me now. As i say im genuinely sorry for what happend with the omunication with kimmy & will make sure it doesnt happen again to anyone else. Thanks for your time everyone. take care

Hi yes I agree with the others that you should have a fool proof system of emailing everyone when you send out shipments - maybe there is  some software out there that you can put buyers into that will show the sale as incomplete until you have marked it as shipped and sent out an auto email when you ship it, etc

with other sellers I have been sent the following:

An email comfirming receipt of payment and confirming items ordered (hair length, color, number items etc)
Confirmation of my postal address

A second email confirming date items were shipped, and method of shipping and tracking numbers and link to websites to track item

This ensures that:

If there is a delay in shipping the buyer is informed
If the buyer knows when it was sent they know when to chase up on their end if it hasnt arrived

The correct items in the correct color/size/quantity are sent to the correct address.

Its not the delay I mind so much as not knowing whats going on whereas if i had had an email right after you shipped it saying hi your items were shipped today via royal mail tracking code whatever etc, then I would have spent my time chasing it up with the tracking and my PO before I started emailing you and starting up paypal claims etc.
