Hi!I had the same unpleasant experience (and still have in rainy days!). I suggest you put a leave-in conditionner (check out Aveda's!!!) in your hair after washing it. I should give you great results!

I'm a twelve year old Indian girl living in the U.S. I have had waist length hair for about 3 years, but have not taken any special care of it. Last summer, tightly coiled strands of hair started appearing in my naturally staight hair. Why and what can I do to fix it? The curls stick out all over the place.
