I use Nexxus' Botanic Oil Natural Oils on my dry ends. The primary ingredient is Safflower oil. It seems to work for me. (You can purchase a 3.3 oz. size of this to try out.)
> Hi, Sherry!Funny you should ask about safflower oil. I used this on my ends until my jojoba arrived in the mail. I went to my kitchen cabinet because I use it for cooking normally. I would say that safflower oil definitely does the job, but it seemed to be a bit greasy. I was surprised at this considering it is great for cooking or on salads as a light oil.The major problem that I experienced was that the safflower oil did not readily absorb into the dry ends as well as the jojoba oil. I also experienced slight caking or crusting with little. Jojoba and wheat germ oil never do this.Hope this helps....Jade21Hi there!> I just read over at the Salon Web that safflower oil> is a great emolient for dry ends.
