> Hi, Sick of Pills!I'm not sure who you are, but I can think of a few folks:)I know this can be a problem when you are not accustomed to taking many or any supplements.I have begun taking a new multivitamin/mineral tablet fairly recently and it is a real horse pill. It has made me feel great, but I take it twice a day and I have to tell you, it is a bit much. It is larger than my B-Complex vitamin which I thought was the biggest one I would ever take.I'd have to go to my medicine chest and do a daily count, but it is quite a few. I also do a periodic rotation. I am not taking everything at the same time. I may have mentioned this, but you should be dividing the dosages. If you can't or don't want to, you should take your supplements after the largest meal of the day. Personally, I eat a light breakfast, usually some cereal with fruit and maybe some toast. I also wait about 1 hour after breakfast before taking the supplements,so as not to do the gag thing. Some people take them while ingesting the meal.Your question about taking 15 pills. It's not the number of pills it's just the dosages. Don't take too much. For example, you could take 10 300mcg of Biotin and that's the equivalent of 3mg of Biotin, definitely not an overdose.Personally, I can offer only one real suggestion to all the pills and capsules you feel that you are taking. You might try some in a powder form. For example, Twinlab makes a product called Phyto Power, which can serve as a multivitamin/mineral tab equivalent or an antioxidant equivalent. You mix two tablespoons of the powder with juice. End of pills or caps. There are other manufacturers which have similar products. I have gone this route as an alternative. Some manufacturers also have individual packets which you can use on a daily basis rather than just a cannister of the powder. The pills and capsules have drawbacks, but are simply more convenient if you are running around a lot. Just put them in a baggie in a backpack, briefcase or purse and go.Hope this helps...Jade21I've been following your advice on vitamin> supplements.
