Yeah, I think Plastikhaar is getting my vote as well. The price is right and there's such a nice selection of waves and color. Can't wait to get my samples, decide the mm wave I want and then make an order!

Wow, I just read through the posts--she actually double-ended those with the open-ended braids. How cool!

Damn, I really like that. The hair looks so real--a great color match and not too shiny. Thanks for the link, Aeone!

PlastikHaar, here I come!

Ditto. I'm always searching for loose show-offs there. I was thrilled when I saw Bridget's site (I think we all were).

Excellent. I've never had dreads or braids, but I love browsing the other sections, too. Some of the work is so creative. I wouldn't necessarily want it for myself, but it really shows a tremendous amount of skill and imagination.

yeah it has been quite over there lately, but sometimes it is like that there then all of a sudden it gets really busy again. The dreads/braids and more alternative styles are hotter topics on quinnsters site. It'll pick up over there again it always does!

LOL, Sherrie. That's too funny. We're spending way too much time on these boards and are now sharing the same brain, I suppose. Is it just me, or is Quinnster's Loose section very quiet these past few days? (I feel like it's hard to get responses there sometimes, but I think it's cause many of these topics were probably covered long ago....sigh.)

Good idea - I'll post over there right now :D

I emailed Sara for a sample of her monofibre,
too ...I can't wait for it to arrive

That's a double-plus if her hair is in wefts ...I don't
think i'd be able to handle the loose stuff very well.
:(

Based on everything I've read, Dome is bulk hair; so is ProStyles. The only salon-quality synth provider (that I know of) who does wefts is Plastikhaar. But you may want to post on Quinnster's just to make sure.

dome is in bulk, so is prostyles and plastikhaar although plastikhaar does have some weft, but I am not sure what they have as far as colors & textures that are wefted.

I cant find anything on thermofiber hair but I did finally run across this by accident:

http://www.hairz.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=346569&Product_Code=hsfnyb18&Category_Code=SB

http://www.ebonyline.com/newsusibusyb.html

Its called Hot Fusion Hair and if you scroll down the page it tells you how you can use a curling iron on it.

dome prolin

actually i really dont see the point to buy prolin?
ive had a bid discussion about this with the dome sales assistance...
i did ones and i was so dissapointed!
theres no quality or shape difference between
the classic dome or that prolin stuff!
and its only 30g each bag instead of 100g!!!
and therefore its far too expensiv.
but yes the proline stuff is machine blended.

but i love the wavy dome hair.
the curls are very nice!
i just a shame the hairs so short : /

as for blended hair,
if you find any combination that you want
just let me know. i can order that for you.
they do machine blending with all colours i have avaible : )
so any colour avaible

Well, I technically don't care toooo much about the
lack of colour selection that Dome has - If i'm going
to try something out, most of the time, I prefer
going with the best that I can get :)

Sooo ...I am pretty much going to try to get my
hands on all 3 of them ..and decide for myself :p

I thought Prolin were the enhancer strips, the ones you would use for streaks/highlights, as opposed to the whole head (monofibre). I don't think it's a dye product; they're strips that can be used to create highlights, rather than dyeing your own hair.

I would imagine you could blend your own Dome monofibre; they really don't have the greatest color selection, imo. Plastikhaar has tons of colors, including blends, and I don't know about Prostyles; I'm still trying to get in touch with them.
